Had our final meeting with our social worker today.  Everything looks good for homestudy paperwork to be finalized!  Onward with the process!

Our social worker has contacted us! He is coming this Sunday for our in home visit and couples interview. Paperwork is completed and we are just waiting for Roberts new birth certificate to come in the mail. China won't accept a copy of our birth certificates or marriage license so we had to apply for new ones. Please pray all goes well with our home study visits.

We are making great progress. Paper work is almost complete and we had our first home study / orientation meeting on March 28th. Next we will being our home visits. Thank you all for your prayers. Keep em commin!!!

We now have our Homestudy Agency picked!  AWAA will be doing our homestudy!  More paperwork to fill out!!

Paperwork Phase 1 begins!  As I'm sitting in the office doing this paperwork, I was thinking how when your expecting a child biologically, they grow inside your tummy for about 9 months and you feel them and watch your belly grow.  But when you are adopting, they don't grow in your tummy, they grow in your heart!  I wonder what Zoe will look like, what her laugh will sound like and what her personality will be.  My heart is overflowing with love for her already!

Formal application is now approved.  Now we start fund raising.

Here is the beautfiul nursery that we have made for Zoe Christine!  It's a cupcake theme with pastel pink, purple and bright white trim.  I hope we can make beautiful memories in this room with her!

We received our pre-app approval through AAC on Jan. 31, 2012.  Formal application was put in the mail on February 7, 2012.  Now we wait for approval and then our exciting journey begins...
